The gallon size of Suspend Polyzone is a tip and pour bottle as seen in the picture on the website. You would tip the bottle over to get the right amount of product into the measuring chamber.

Suspend SC will only last for about 30 days outdoors (90 days indoors) while Suspend Polyzone has been tested and will last for 90 days outdoors. Suspend Polyzone has a unique poly coating over the particles of the product which protects it from weathering and makes the residual last longer. Suspend Polyzone was also designed to stay up on the surface of even very porous areas such as concrete or wood which makes the product more available to insects. Suspend SC and Suspend Polyzone cannot be applied to animals including dogs.

How can I get rid of ground beetles in the house without harming my animals?
Is there a safe, effective ground beetles spray that I can use around my pets? We live in the country and have dogs and cats. For some reason we are seeing a LARGE amount of ground beetles in and around the house. Usually we only see a small amount of these beetles in the fall, in our basement, now they are everywhere!! Please HELP!!

Can you use Suspend Polyzone if you are pregnant?

We do not recommend that you do the treatment of Suspend Polyzone, but rather have someone else spray for you just to stay on the side of caution during pregnancy. We recommend that you stay out of the treated area until it has completely dried and then it would be safe to return to.

Can Suspend Polyzone be sprayed on carpets (mixed with an IGR) for fleas?
Exterminator was previously spraying Dragnet mixed with IGR on all flooring services in my house, including carpet, tile and hardwood. I would like to start treating on my own and see that Dragnet is discontinued. Can I spray this on all floors, if not where should it be sprayed indoors or other suggestions?

For hard surfaces though you do not need to treat the entire floor. Treatment should be more directed to cracks and crevices on hardwood and tile floors as that is where the eggs and young would be. I am using a Stihl power backpack sprayer with a 3.7 Gallon tank. I would like to treat for mosquitoes and would like to know rates. Yes Suspend SC, not Suspend Polyzone is labeled for carpet beetle control and it will eliminate carpet beetles that come into contact with treated areas. Suspend Polyzone is primarily meant for outdoor use.  It is very important that the source of the infestation (where the damaging larva is harboring) is discovered and eliminated, not just the visible adult insects you see wandering around. Until you find out what that is and deal with it you will continue to get more of the carpet beetles emerging from hiding. Carpet beetles may be as likely to feed on grain based food materials as they are on animal byproducts. Pet foods stored in forgotten places, baking goods left too long in the cupboard, rodent baits tossed in the attic - all of these are quite susceptible to carpet beetle feeding. Plus, you also have the typical carpet beetle diets of dead insects (wasp nests in the attic, dead insects in window sills), feathers (bird nests, dead birds), hair (dead rodents, wool products, trophy mounts), and other things made from animal byproducts. Once the source of the infestation is removed or cleaned, using Suspend SC will help get rid of the annoying adult beetles. You can spray once a month until all of the beetles are gone.

Will Suspend Polyzone kill fleas in the house?
Since it has such a residual, will it kill the eggs & larvae? We have hardwood and tile only and live in the country. One inside cat, one outside cat and dog. I've tried back drops, collars, flea pills on them and it works for a bit. I've sprayed outside with Demon and Tempo. Used granular also and I can't get rid of these dang things. I saw some reviews on the Suspend Polyzone and I'm at my wits end.

This will last approximately 90 days indoors and outdoors. Be sure to spray around the perimeter of your home, around windows and doors, etc. when treating outdoors. Indoors, you will spray around baseboards, cracks and crevices. The mixing ratio is 0.75 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Once the product has dried completely, it is safe for animals and children to return to the area. It is important to keep in mind that millipedes breed in moist, dark areas, so look for ways you can make the environment less conducive for these insects.
