TakeDown Soft Bait can be used with or without the paper wrapping on the soft bait pouches. If removing the wrapping, be sure to where chemical resistant gloves while handling the bait and the station. Secure the bait pouches on the bait station rods in the tamper reistant bait station.Â

Unfortunately the EPA regulates most rodenticides and only allows them to be sold in certain quantities. The TakeDown Soft Bait can only be sold in the 16lb weight quantity.Â

I used with tremendous success - there was a increase in the rodents so I used again but seems like it is not as effective. Curoius if the rodents build up a resistanceATakeDown Soft Bait contains Bromethalin, which is a neurotoxin active ingredient. No, TakeDown Soft Bait is not labeled for coyotes and should only be used to target rodents and used in tamper resistant bait stations to keep non target animals and kids from accessing the bait.Â

Soft baits such as TakeDown Soft Bait  do not have an antidote, so it's always best to use a bait box. Secondary poisoning risk is really just with anti-coagulant baits. The neurotoxins have the lowest risk of secondary poisoning, but there is no anti-dote with those, if you're concerned about primary (direct) poisoning.
