The Advance Termite Bait Cartridge (TBC) is for use in the Advance Termite Bait System only. After stations have been installed and monitored, the TBC should be used only if and where termite activity has been found. Each TBC contains the active ingredient Diflubenzuron, which works slowly enough that worker termites carry the active ingredient back to the colony before the colony has the opportunity to change food sources. Diflubenzuron is an insect development inhibitor that impairs the ability of termites to molt. Each cartridge contains enough bait for approximately 90 days of feeding, although actual use will vary dependent on termites’ feeding habits and the size of colonies. Replace bait if termite activity continues, or replace with a fresh Monitoring Cartridge and wood Monitoring Base when termite activity has ceased.
Subterranean Termites
The Advance Termite Bait Cartridges (TBC) are used during the baiting phase. After termites have been identified in the monitoring stations, the Advance Termite Inspection Cartridges (TIC) are replaced with these bait cartridges. The bait is contained in a plastic container for easy inspection. The stations should still be checked every 3 months even when termites are present in the baiting station. 6 units.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Diflubenzuron 0.25%
*Always read the product label completely before use.
Advance Compressed Termite Bait II is intended for use in an ongoing program of management and control of subterranean termite colonies in the ground around and under any type of building or other object (structure). Advance Compressed Termite Bait II does not exclude termites from a structure. Instead, it suppresses or eliminates termite colonies.
After termite activity has been absent from a station for at least approximately 60 days, any remaining bait may be removed. If bait is removed, clean out station and replace with monitor (pre-bait) or bait. Alternatively, bait may remain in the station if it is in good condition and 50% or more remains. If termites have abandoned the station, possibly due to reductions in termite activity related to low temperatures during the period of predicted limited termite activity, it may be advisable to leave the station and bait in place and recheck the station again after the period of predicted limited termite activity has elapsed before removing and replacing the bait.
To inspect a station, remove the cover and visually examine the interior for the presence of termites, being careful to minimize disturbance of the termites. If live termites are present in the station, bait with Advanced Termite Bait II. Replace excessively decayed bait or pre-bait. Replace the station cover securely.
Each box contains 6 Bait Cartridges to install in 6 Advance Termite Bait Stations. Each cartridge contains enough bait to last approximately 90 days.
*Replace Termite Inspection Cartridge with Termite Bait Cartridge when termite activity has been found in a station. Remove Bait Cartridge after 90 days or when termite activity ceases.
*Use only in Advance Termite Bait Stations already installed around the perimeter of residential, industrial, or commercial structures.
Indoors-
Advance Termite Bait systems are for outdoor use only.
Outdoors-
If termite activity is known to be present in or on the structure at the time stations are initially installed, inspect all stations 2 times at approximately 45 and 90 days after the date of completion of initial station installation. If no termite activity is present in or on the structure at the time stations are initially installed, inspect all stations for the first time 90 days after the date of completion of initial station installation. Thereafter, inspect stations approximately 90 days after the date of the last inspection of the stations.
