How much will one quart of Tandem make?

A

The amount of Tandem Insecticide a quart size bottle will make depends on the concentration it is used at. If you use the 0.065% concentration, a quart size bottle will make about 58 gallons of solutions.

Q

I have a Taexx system. How do I use it without hiring a pest company?

A

We do sell products like Optigard Flex and Tandem that can be used in the system, but nothing to technically service it. You would want to try and locate the manufacturer of the system or a local company that has the equipment to service the system for you.

Talstar P is still the most commonly used product for mosquito control. Most pros choose to mix it with Nyguard IGR to sterilize the adults so they cannot lay eggs before they die after coming into contact with treated areas.

There is not a specific temperature requirement for applying Essentria IC3 except that temperatures should be above freezing to avoid damaging your spray equipment.

Is Tandem Insecticide or Onslaught FastCap better for spider control?
I will continue purchasing from you, as I will only use the pest control service once yearly. My concern is spiders. Should I purchase Tandem or Onslaught Fastcap from you going forward? Thanks.

Either Tandem or Onslaught FastCap would be great for spiders as they are both micro-encapsulated and, therefore, easy for these hard-to-kill pests to pick up on their legs and bodies. Onslaught Fastcap would be the faster kill overall due to the added synergist.

How well does Tandem work on controlling mesquitos in the yard and in mulch?

Tandem works awesome in treating Mosquitos in yards and mulch. It is microencapsulated so the active ingredient is protected from the outside elements, therefore offering a more successful kill. It is also specifically labeled for use indoors and out, in lawns, shrubs, etc.

We have a pest company come out and spray but we have a large tree near the house and I think the roaches come in from the attic. I see dead roaches outside but see live ones in the house(large tree roaches).

Tandem Insecticide does list schools as an approved Use Site on the product label but not specifically playgrounds. The product label advises to keep children and pets off the treated areas following the application until the spray has dried. There is more detailed information under the Outdoor Pests Section on the product label and unfortunately, we cannot advise beyond what is listed on the product label. We would recommend contacting your local Dept of Agriculture as every County in each State has its own list of approved insecticides for use inside/around schools and daycares.
