    Any application restrictions for lawns in N.Y. State with Tenacity Herbicide??
    How early in the Spring can you can you spray in this climate? How damp or wet should you spray to insure proper coverage?

    Tenacity Herbicide is not restricted in the state of New York.  It can be applied when the soil temperature reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit.     Is there a specific sprayer recommended to apply Tenacity?
    Should you spray the entire lawn to take care of undetected areas of Bentgrass or spot spray those obvious areas only ??

    Tenacity Herbicide can be used as both a spot treatment in your lawn or as a broadcast spray. It can be applied with any hand pump sprayer.  Many of our customers like the Chapin Premier 1-Gallon Sprayer.

    Will Tenacity kill bermuda grass?

    The product label states that Bermuda grass is sensitive to Tenacity but it would not be recommended as a product specifically used to kill it.

    Will Tenacity Herbicide kill Poa Annua and leave my rye and blue grass alone?

    Tenacity Herbicide is not labeled to control Poa Annua/Annual Bluegrass in a post emergent application, it only states that it could cause injury to it if sprayed.     I have applied Tenacity 14 days ago for nimbleweed. The areas are white now.
    Can I put seed down in the areas where the nimblewill is dying now? Do I need to remove it first?

    Per the label of Tenacity Herbicide, the lawn can be reseeded at any time unless the grass type is fine fescue. You will not need to remove the dead weeds from the area first.

    I sprayed Tenacity Herbicide on a site that will be a future flower bed to kill the weeds in the dirt. How long before I can plant the flowers?

    Per the product label for Tenacity Herbicide: Do not plant any crop other than turfgrass species for 18 months after the last application of Tenacity or injury may occur.

    Can I use Tenacity for control of poa on a Bermuda grass lawn?

    Tenacity Herbicide is only safe to use on dormant Bermudagrass, and it will not offer post-emergent control of poa annua, per the product label.     I applied Tenacity 3 weeks ago. Can I now apply Weed-Be-Gone?
    Some spots need more herbicide: Clover, Dallisgrass. Do the different herbicides react badly together?

    We see no reason why you cannot apply Weed Be Gone now.  It has been 3 weeks after Tenacity Herbicide, which is plenty of time. Please take a look at the Tenacity product label to be sure that it is safe to apply to your particular grass species.

    Can I kill rye grass with Tenacity Herbicide? I live in the Northeast.

    No, Tenacity Herbicide will not eliminate ryegrass.  If you want to eliminate ryegrass in cool season turf, we would recommend using Turflon Ester Ultra. The mixing rate is 3/8 - 3/4 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.

    Will Tenacity kill lawn fungus?

    Tenacity Herbicide will not kill lawn fungus. It is a herbicide that will only eradicate listed weeds in listed turfgrass only. We do offer fungicides for the lawn.

    How much surfactant should I add to my 2 gallon tank sprayer when using Tenacity?
    A

    You did not mention which surfactant you are planning to use with the Tenacity.  The one that is most commonly recommended is the Southern Ag Non-Ionic Surfactant for Herbicides, which requires 1-2 teaspoons per gallon of water.

    How many ounces of tenacity and surfactant are needed in a 26 gallon boom sprayer for general lawn/grass weed maintenance? Ive read for tenacity, 1 teaspoon per 2 gallons of water but also 4-8 oz per acre in at least 30 gallons of water. How much surfactant should be included?

    Can you apply Tenacity in the middle of the summer?

    Yes, Tenacity can be applied in the summer.  Keep in mind that the best temperature range to apply most herbicides, including Tenacity, is between 65-85 degrees.

    Does Tenacity Herbicide have any effect on quackgrass?
    I know the product is not listed for quack grass, but when I sprayed a patch, while spraying for bent grass, the tips of the leaves turned white. Would additional spraying have any beneficial effect?

    Since quackgrass is not on the label to be controlled by the Tenacity, we cannot recommend you use it for this application.
