The XLure RTU Fabric Insect Trap is used to capture, trap and eliminate fabric insects such as Webbing and Casemaking Clothes Moths, Varied and Black Carpet Beetles. A tab is available to secure the trap with a tether system. The pheromone insect trap features 3 top entry holes that easily lures the moths in and has a rough, angled surface that beetles can climb in. Traps are reusable, just replace the cartridges. Each cartridge is sealed for freshness. It can be used in and around museums, commercial establishments, apartments, warehouses and other areas where such pests are present. If this trap is accidentally kicked over, it will not spill.

Target pests Webbing and casemaking clothes moths, brown house moth, varied and black carpet beetles (Tineola bisselliella, Tinea pellionella, Hofmannophila pseudospretella, Anthrenus verbasci, Attagenus unicolor) For use in Clothes moths such as Tineola bisselliella can be found in clothes production and storage areas, such as factories, warehouses, wardrobes, and other areas. They can also affect similar premises to the carpet beetle species such as carpet shops, museums, and tapestries in historic houses. Application Peel off the aluminum foil from the cartridge and add the cartridge to the main body of the trap. Place the trap on the floor of the potential area of infestation. Examine the trap regularly. When full with insects, change the cartridge. Collect data weekly. During the height of the population season, more frequent inspections may be needed. If a decision is made to make a pesticide application, please follow directions carefully. Replace the pheromone cartridge every 6-8 weeks or as needed. I brought these for clothes moth. They do not work. I have used other traps and have collected moths but with these I got NOT ONE moth. Waste of my money.
