Are the enter/exit holes on the Ants No More Biat Stations large enough for honey bees to enter?
Also, does the spike get inserted all the way in the ground or just till the fist hole is at ground level?

The Ants No More Bait Stations are designed to prevent non target insects like honey bees from getting into the station. Ants enter the station through the small holes in the center stake and this hole is not much bigger than a large carpenter ant so small enough that a bee would not fit. You would push the station into the ground to the first hole, or you could go a little futher for less entry points.

How close to my home should I place the Ants No More Bait stations?
Should they be place against the edge of the house to attract the ants easier to the station or should they be placed a short distance away so you are not bringing ants close to your home. If the second is better then wouldn't the ants have a harder time finding the bait stations since the house is where they are trying to get to. Keep in mind I currently have ants, on a small scale, in my home.

If you already have ants coming into your home you will want to put some stations near the current activity for the ants to quickly find the bait. Putting stations near your home will not necessarily draw more ants to the house from the yard, but spacing the stations out across your property can be beneficial to get ant mounds in other areas of the yard you may not see. There is not a set placement you have to follow to get control over the ant populations in your yard with these stations.

The Ant No More Bait Stations come as just one solid peice so the cups are not detachable or replaceable. If you are looking for a station that you can replace an entire bait cup we would recommend the Intice Border Control System. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Yes, it is always recommended to put two different type of baits inside of the Ants No More Bait Station. One being granule & the other liquid as ants may want a protein or sweet based bait. As long as both baits are labeled for the ants you are targeting, they may both fit inside of the station and control the ants. Keeping in mind that ant control may take up to 90 days depending on the size of the colony or if you have more than one colony.

Any problems with rain or condensation affecting granular bait effectiveness when using Ants No More bait stations?

Ants No More Bait Station help keep the elements from the products applied inside. It is possible that in certain situations that moisture/condensation can occur. We would recommend applying fresh bait if this occurs.

Will the Ants No More bait station work for Harvester ants?
I have a sizeable nest in my backyard and am looking for a pet-friendly way of killing this mound. Using a spreadable granule is not an option because my dogs spend most of their outside time with their noses (and sometimes mouths) to the ground in search of anything to sniff or taste so obviously spreaders and sprays are out of the question.

According to the manufacturer's product brochure, the Ants No More Bait Station comes with an interior sliding bait stop, which sounds like the part you are inquiring about, that when in the locked position prevents spillage when the trap is inverted. You would not want to remove that part, as it would prevent the bait from coming out of the trap. The Ants No More Bait Station does not come with an insert, those inserts were also discontinued. If yours did, it can be removed or left in, it depends on how you prefer to use it.

What is the narrow green plastic tube insert for? It can easily be lost. I lost two but have the others still in the larger tube portion of the cup.
