Nutsedge Weed Killers
There are not a huge range of weed killers effective on nutsedge, but we do have a handful of post and pre-emergent products that can suppress nutsedge effectively, including:
- Non-selective Post-emergent herbicides containing glyphosate (i.e., Roundup or other glyphosate products) can be effective on young plants.
- There are several products formulated for controlling sedges. We sell several, like Sedgehammer, Monument, Certainty, and others that have been found to be successful treatments.
- Some pre-emergent herbicides can help reduce yellow nutsedge, like Pennant.
